Software customization & extensions

Software customization & extensions.

Extend an existing CRM, operations system or business application with a supported plugin, module or custom feature. We inspect the software’s APIs, extension points and permissions, then build the missing step around your team’s workflow.

Keep the approval
with the record.

An operations team needs a manager to approve a changed account limit. Keep the request, decision and history beside the account.

Check the native feature

Review the CRM’s existing approval rules and licence. Configure them if they cover the process.

Add the missing feature

A supported module can add the request, manager decision and status to the customer record, with role permissions and an audit trail.

Plan the update

Use a test environment, document supported versions and keep rollback instructions. Check compatibility before platform upgrades.

Add the feature your software is missing.

An added feature that fits the existing system, with documented permissions, tests and update instructions.

What the work can cover

  • A review of the platform, licence and supported extension points
  • One defined feature, plugin or module
  • Views and permissions for the agreed users
  • A test environment and working version for review
  • Checks for invalid data, failures and upgrade compatibility
  • Source, installation and rollback instructions

The baseline covers one platform, one feature and up to three added or changed views. We check source access, platform policies, licences and a test environment first. Platform fees, migrations, major upgrades and ongoing care are separate.

Worth knowing

Your questions,
answered.

Which software can you extend?

Platforms with documented APIs, supported plugins or modules, or source code you have the right to change. We inspect the actual version, licence and access before confirming a build.

Should we customize or integrate?

Customize when a missing feature belongs inside an existing application. Integrate when information needs to move between systems. A separate tool can make sense when neither platform supports the task.

What happens when the platform updates?

We document supported versions, installation and rollback. An upgrade may need compatibility work, which is separately scoped unless covered by an agreed maintenance plan.
